Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, troubleshoot, and service commercial fire alarm systems. Install and wire initiating devices, notification appliances, control panels, and associated equipment. Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning. Read and interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and wiring schematics. Install conduit and pathways as needed for fire alarm systems. Diagnose and repair fire alarm system issues while ensuring code compliance. Assist with integrated life safety systems including access control, CCTV, and security systems as needed. Maintain clean, organized work areas while following all OSHA and site safety requirements.
Requirements:
Commercial Fire Alarm experience preferred-the more experience, the better, but we'll also review Fire Alarm Installers looking to grow. Strong Security, Access Control, or CCTV Technicians are encouraged to apply. Experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting, or programming commercial fire alarm systems. Experience with manufacturers such as NOTIFIER, Fire-Lite, Silent Knight, Edwards, Siemens, Simplex, or similar is a plus. NICET certification is a plus but not required. Conduit installation and bending experience is a plus. Basic hand tools and PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi-vis vest, steel-toe boots). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
