Full-time Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Fire Alarm & Low Voltage Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in fire alarm installation and service technician roles, possess proven experience in low voltage systems, and demonstrate proficiency in computer networking. Immediate Prevailing Wage Projects Possible Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair fire alarms, as well as other low voltage systems and related equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with alarm systems Program and configure alarm systems as per specifications Conduct regular inspections to ensure systems operate correctly Provide on-site service support during alarm system installations and post installation training for our clients Collaborate closely with customers to address security needs effectively and with care Demonstrate leadership by coaching and guiding team members Provide timely written documentation of each working day Ability to build strong client relationships on-site Strong leadership and communication skills. Capable of resolving complex field situations effectively

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Alarm Technician/Low voltage tech for a minimum of (2) years Proficiency in using hand tools and multimeters Knowledgeable in fire alarm systems and security system technology Familiarity with computer networking and hardware Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Additional Requirements:

Holds ES-3 or ES-7 Journeyman Low Voltage Systems certification Nicet I or II a plus OSHA 10 Required Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screenings and background checks as needed About Datalinx Technology
