Fire Extinguisher Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a Fire Extinguisher technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting, servicing, and maintaining fire extinguishers to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. On the job training is available. Responsibilities Inspect, refill, and hydro test fire extinguishers and cylinders. Service fire extinguishers both in shop and on site via company van. Company van provided during company hours. Use of hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and maintenance tasks. Commission given for acquiring new customers and sales of new extinguishers. Requirements Must possess organizational skills as well the ability to schedule appointments for inspections. Must be able to accurately complete applicable documentation(s) as well as maintain accurate records regarding fire extinguishers. Must be able to lift / carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Must possess a valid driver's license. Previous service technician experience is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
