Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Jr. Fire Sprinkler Mechanic and be a vital part of ensuring safety and protection through expert installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop technical skills in fire protection systems while working alongside experienced professionals. Your hands-on work will directly contribute to safeguarding lives and property, making a real difference in the communities we service.
Responsibilities:
Assist in installing, inspecting, testing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems according to safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Support senior technicians in performing system repairs and upgrades efficiently and accurately. Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues or system malfunctions before they escalate. Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed, including test results, repairs, and system modifications. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and uphold quality standards. Junior mechanics must be willing to test and obtain their Nassau County COF Type
II, NYC S12 & S13
within six (6) months of hire
Experience:
Minimum two (2) years Fire Sprinkler/Plumbing experience Positive attitude and willingness to learn on the job is essential Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for attention to detail and accuracy Ability to follow technical instructions and safety guidelines diligently Excellent communication skills to work effectively with a team environment Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces OSHA 30 with SST or OSHA 40 is a plus Embark on a rewarding career path where your technical aptitude and proactive mentality will grow alongside your expertise.
