Job Description
Access Control Technician General Security Inc. has an immediate position available for an experienced technician to join our team. Our company is consistently nationally ranked in the top 30 in a widely recognized Industry publication, Security Distributing & Marketing Magazine (SDM). The publication ranks the top 100 Security Dealers in the Country on an annual basis. We have a need for a skilled security technician with experience installing Access Control Systems. Video Systems (CCTV) and/or commercial fire is a plus but not necessary. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill level. Qualifications Experience in installing and servicing Access Control Systems Proficiency in using power tools for installation and maintenance tasks Knowledge of Access Control Systems and Security Alarm technology Ability to read and interpret schematics for system installations Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems and cabling techniques Strong background in security system design and troubleshooting Candidate's duties will include installing and servicing Access Control Systems, Security Systems, and Video Systems. The Technician will be working both independently and as part of a team. The candidate could work on residential and commercial accounts and will also be part of our on-call rotation.
