They will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems and associated security equipment. Your expertise will ensure that life safety systems operate flawlessly, providing peace of mind for clients and compliance with safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional service and technical support to a diverse customer base. Duties Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm/detection/suppression systems including sensors, control panels, and annunciators in commercial and industrial settings Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints related to low-voltage electrical wiring and system design Conduct routine inspections of fire alarm and security systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards Diagnose equipment issues using hand tools, power tools, and remote access software; perform necessary repairs or replacements Maintain detailed records of service activities, system configurations, and inspection reports for compliance audits Collaborate with clients to provide technical troubleshooting support and educate on system operation and maintenance Experience Ohio Fire Alarm License, Sprinkler License nice to have Proven experience as a service technician specializing in fire alarm systems or fire alarm installation and maintenance Strong mechanical knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, cabling, and electrical blueprint reading Hands-on experience with system design, schematics interpretation, and electrical wiring installation in construction or retrofit projects Customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and technical support in field service environments Knowledge of codes and standards related to low-voltage electrical wiring and system installation
Pay:
$30.92 - $45.22 per hour
