Security Installer - Commercial Low Voltage

In this role, you will be responsible for installing low voltage systems, specializing in fire and security alarm systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. Your work will directly support our mission of delivering exceptional life-safety and security solutions to our commercial customers. Responsibilities Install systems, alarm devices, or related equipment, following blueprints or electrical layouts Mount and fasten control panels, door / window contacts, sensors, and video cameras Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications Install cables through access holes, roof spaces or cavity walls Examine systems to diagnose and resolve problems Conduct tests and inspections Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, or floors Communicate with customer / user to assess issues and needs Manage equipment, tools, and materials inventory Inspect safety equipment to ensure proper function Conduct safety equipment inspections Pick up product from vendors Maintain clean and organized job sites Physical Requirements Must not be color blind Capable of climbing ladders Comfortable working at heights Ability to lift 40 lbs. Able to work with hands above you head Qualifications 1 year commercial low voltage systems experience Positive attitude Team player Strong mechanical aptitude Understanding of electrical circuits Identify and build pathways Experience with aerial lift operation Professional communication abilities Logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problems Excellent organizational & time management skills Reliable attendance record High School graduate or equivalent Authorized to work in the United States Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
