The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of alarm systems, ensuring the highest level of security for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of various technologies and systems related to alarm installation and troubleshooting. The Alarm Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain various types of alarm systems, including intrusion detection systems (IDS) and fire alarms. Perform cabling and electrical work in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete installations and repairs. Troubleshoot issues with alarm systems, utilizing remote access software when necessary. Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions. Conduct routine inspections and testing of alarm systems to ensure optimal performance. Document all service calls, installations, and repairs accurately in the company's database. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in alarm technology. Experience/Certifications Licensed through the Oklahoma Department of Labor Proven experience in installing and maintaining alarm systems or related fields is preferred. Familiarity with computer hardware and software relevant to alarm systems is a plus. Knowledge of DMP and Residio Systems would be beneficial. Ability to build effective working relationships with clients and team members. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
