Role:
Alwine Security is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Service Technician to join our growing team. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of commercial fire alarm systems, video surveillance (CCTV), access control, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems. If you enjoy hands-on technical work, solving problems on-site, and delivering excellent customer service, this is a great opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair system faults, replace defective components, and restore systems to full operation. Program, configure, and troubleshoot panels and devices from major manufacturers (e.g., Honeywell, Potter, DMP, Bosch, etc.). Respond to service calls and emergency repairs in a timely manner. Provide on-site customer training and support after system upgrades or repairs. Complete all service reports, test documentation, and inventory logs accurately and on time. Maintain company vehicle, tools, and test equipment in clean, working condition.
Requirements:
Prior experience in security systems, low-voltage wiring, or a related technical field preferred Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in the field Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screening. Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work on ladders, and access tight spaces. High school diploma or GED required; technical school or associate degree preferred.
