Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Chimney Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, sweeping, repairing, and maintaining chimneys and venting systems. This role requires the ability to work effectively at heights and in various environments. The Chimney Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of venting systems while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of chimneys, flues, and venting systems Perform cleaning, repairs, and maintenance on chimneys utilizing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Identify structural issues such as cracks, blockages, or deterioration and recommend appropriate solutions. Install new chimney components or retrofit existing systems following safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Document work performed with precision, including detailed reports on inspections and repairs. Collaborate with clients to explain findings and recommend maintenance or repair plans. Maintain a clean work environment and properly store tools and materials after each job. Must be able to lift and carry 80 lbs Experience No experience needed, on the job training Experienced candidates will be considered for a higher monetary compensation We offer training, ongoing education, and the opportunity for growth.
