delivers secure, modern Access Control and Low Voltage solutions for commercial properties across the U.S. Our latest project is with a major technology partner on a groundbreaking platform that is redefining how properties manage secure deliveries and access. This is a chance to be part of a truly innovative system being deployed nationwide. Position Access Control / Low Voltage Contractor (Independent Contractor - 1099) Project Overview Contractors will install and configure smart access devices in secure panels at commercial sites in the Minneapolis, MN metro area and surrounding regions. Scope may range from integrating into an existing access control infrastructure to a full system installation — including running power, mounting panels, and installing door strikes or other locking hardware. What You'll Do Perform integration or full system installations based on site requirements Follow manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and local codes Self-schedule assignments and report completions independently via our portal Ensure professional presentation and site conduct as an independent service provider Adhere to all safety protocols and licensing requirements Who We're Looking For Valid license/registration as required for access control/security systems work in Minnesota (most low-voltage work is exempt from statewide electrical licensing; local Minneapolis permits may apply) Demonstrated experience in Access Control installation, service, and troubleshooting Skilled in both retrofit and new system installs (including power, panel, and hardware) Own professional-grade tools and reliable, insured transportation (truck or van preferred) Active general liability insurance Ability to work independently with high attention to detail Customarily engaged in an independently established trade or business in low-voltage/access control services (e.g., operate as a separate business entity providing services to multiple clients) Compensation Paid on a per-installation (piece-rate) basis Competitive rates negotiated per contract, based on scope, expertise, and job location Why Work With DLVR?
