Job Description is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems in commercial and residential buildings.
Their duties include:
Installation and Programming:
Installing and programming fire alarm systems, including control panels, sensors, and notification devices. Inspection and Testing•: Conducting regular inspections and tests to ensure systems are functioning properly and meet local and national codes. Troubleshooting and Repair•: Identifying and resolving issues with fire alarm systems, replacing faulty components, and performing repairs. Education Fire Alarm Controls Tech, you'll typically need: A high school diploma or equivalent NICET certification (preferred) Knowledge of NFPA standards and local codes Experience with commercial and residential fire alarm systems Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Rate is at least $30-$32 per hour and $125 a day per diem for days worked Charleston SC One Year Project Certification not requiredWork Location:
