5 days per week when traveling; travel is not required every week We are looking for an experienced Lead Alarm & Security Systems Installer to join our team in the Columbia, SC market. This is a hands-on position for someone who has been in the security industry for several years and can confidently step into installations with minimal training . The ideal candidate knows the alarm business, understands quality installation practices, and can lead a job from start to finish. What You'll Do Lead and perform commercial (Mostly Banks or Credit unions) security system installations Install and program alarm, security, access control, and related low-voltage equipment Troubleshoot wiring, equipment, and system issues Read wiring diagrams, system plans, and installation documentation Ensure installations are completed properly, efficiently, and according to company standards Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic system questions Manage jobsite organization, materials, and equipment Work independently while maintaining communication with the office and project team Travel to job sites as needed, typically for 5-day work weeks when traveling What We're Looking For Several years of experience in the electronic security/alarm industry Strong hands-on installation experience Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and low-voltage wiring Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams and installation documentation Professional appearance and good customer-service skills Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Valid driver's license and a good driving record Willingness to travel approximately 5 days at a time when required, we do not travel every week This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced installer who can require minimal training and begin performing installations shortly after joining the team.
