This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects involving network infrastructure, telecommunication systems, security solutions, and data cabling. As a vital member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of low voltage systems that support critical business functions. Your expertise will help clients optimize their communication networks and security systems, contributing to their operational success. Responsibilities Install, configure, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including CCTV, Fire, Security, Access Control, and more Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute installations and repairs. Perform system testing, programming, and final inspections as needed Ensure installations meet company standards and applicable codes Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and testing devices to diagnose issues with cabling, electrical components, and network hardware. Troubleshoot and resolve installation or service issues as needed Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about system performance issues and project timelines. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or field technician specializing in low voltage systems within commercial environments. Knowledge of security, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV systems Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical codes such as NEC standards for low voltage wiring. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, multimeters (ohmmeters), and testing equipment safely and effectively. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical clients. Knowledge of computer hardware setup and troubleshooting in data centers or server rooms is a plus.
