In this role, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems to meet safety standards and client specifications. Your expertise will help protect lives and property by delivering reliable fire detection solutions. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm systems, sensors, and related low voltage electrical components in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer guidelines Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, system design documents, and CAD drawings to ensure precise installation and maintenance procedures Conduct construction inspections to verify proper system integration within building infrastructure Perform testing of fire alarm components including sensors, control panels, power supplies, and notification devices to ensure optimal operation Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installations and repairs efficiently Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or renovations to integrate fire alarm systems seamlessly into the overall project Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, schematics updates, and compliance documentation Skills Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and system design principles for fire alarm systems Proficiency in CAD software for system layout planning and modifications Mechanical knowledge related to fire sprinkler fitting and integration with alarm systems Experience with construction inspection processes ensuring code compliance (NEC standards) and safety protocols Familiarity with low voltage wiring, sensors, alarms systems sales (fire alarm sales), and electrical experience in field service environments Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and test equipment safely and effectively Understanding of fire alarm system components including sensors, control panels, notification devices, and schematics Join us if you're passionate about safety technology!
