We are looking for an experienced professional with strong fire alarm installation, programming, troubleshooting, and leadership experience. This position will primarily support projects in Austin, with occasional travel to San Antonio and Corpus Christi as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Edwards EST systems , particularly EST4 , and be capable of leading fire alarm installations while providing technical expertise on a variety of fire alarm platforms. Key Responsibilities Install, program, test, inspect, and troubleshoot fire alarm systems. Serve as the lead technician on commercial fire alarm projects. Program and configure Edwards EST4 fire alarm systems and other major fire alarm platforms. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings. Perform system commissioning, testing, and customer demonstrations. Coordinate with project managers, customers, and other field technicians to ensure successful project completion. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable codes, company standards, and safety requirements. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians when needed. Travel to customer sites throughout Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi as required. Qualifications Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician in commercial environments. Strong hands-on experience with Edwards EST4 systems required. Ability to install, program, and troubleshoot a variety of fire alarm systems. Experience leading installation teams and managing field activities. Strong understanding of NFPA standards and fire alarm system requirements. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
