Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Security Alarm and Audio/Video Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security alarm systems, audio/video solutions, and surveillance equipment across various client sites. Your expertise will ensure that security systems operate flawlessly, providing peace of mind for clients while supporting the integration of cutting-edge technology. Responsibilities Install, configure, and test security alarm systems, CCTV cameras, sensors, and audio/video equipment according to schematics and system design specifications Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including access control, and telecommunication networks Use hand tools and power tools to run cabling, mount equipment, and perform mechanical adjustments with precision Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts to ensure accurate installation and repairs Diagnose system issues related to IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), sensors, CCTV surveillance, and remote access software Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements Maintain detailed records of installations, service calls, repairs, and system configurations for future reference Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in security alarm systems, audio/video installations or related fields Strong knowledge of computer networking, low voltage electrical systems, cabling techniques, and system design principles Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools and power tools such as drills, screwdrivers, wire strippers, etc. Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, CCTV surveillance systems (including IP cameras), sensors, fire alarms, and access control devices Ability to troubleshoot complex electronic systems involving telecommunication networks and remote access software Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service excellence We're dedicated to fostering an energetic work environment where innovation thrives.
