Fire Sprinkler Foreman Dickinson, TX Job Details Full-time $25 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid training 401(k) Paid time off On-the-job training 401(k) matching Qualifications Fire sprinkler fitting Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead and oversee fire sprinkler installation and service maintenance projects on construction sites and maintenance calls. This role requires a dynamic leader who can coordinate teams, interpret technical drawings, and ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry codes. As a Fire Sprinkler Foreman, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality fire suppression systems that protect lives and property. Responsibilities Lead and supervise fire sprinkler installation crews, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install fire suppression systems. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, pipe threading equipment, and tube bending tools to assemble piping systems accurately. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of fire sprinkler systems within the overall construction process. Maintain detailed documentation of work progress, inspections, and compliance with safety protocols on-site. Ensure all work meets local building codes, NFPA standards (National Fire Protection Association), and industry best practices for fire sprinkler fitting and maintenance. Skills Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical drawings related to fire suppression systems. Mechanical aptitude with experience in plumbing, pipe threading, soldering, tube bending, and assembly of piping components. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, calipers, rigging equipment, and other construction site machinery safely. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizes and system layouts. Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to pressure piping and system integrity. Construction site experience with an emphasis on safety protocols in manufacturing or industrial environments.
