Services Position Summary:
Unlimited Fire Services LLC is seeking a skilled Fire Protection Systems Technician to join our growing service team in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and surrounding areas. The Service Technician works directly under the supervision of the (RME-I) to assist with fire sprinkler system inspections, service, repairs, and new construction support . This role is designed for an experienced fire sprinkler technician who is capable in the field and motivated to grow into an inspector role. The position supports daily operational compliance, field execution, and documentation while gaining progressive exposure to inspection responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
RME-I Support & Compliance Assist the RME-I with daily operational duties related to fire sprinkler inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs Support compliance with applicable codes and standards (including NFPA and local AHJ requirements) Help prepare inspection documentation, deficiency reports, and service records Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used Service & Repairs Perform fire sprinkler service and repair work, including but not limited to: Sprinkler head replacement Leak repairs Valve repairs and replacements System impairments and restorations Troubleshoot system deficiencies identified during inspections Work independently in the field once tasks are assigned New Construction Support Assist with new fire sprinkler system installations Support rough-in, trim-out, and final phases of construction projects Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades as required Ensure installations align with approved plans and code requirements Inspection Training & Development Learn fire sprinkler inspection procedures under the guidance of the RME-I Assist with annual, quarterly, and periodic inspections as assigned Develop familiarity with inspection software, reporting platforms, and AHJ submission processes Progress toward independently performing inspections as experience and licensing allow
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of work experience with fire sprinkler field installation and/or service repair High school diploma or equivalent (technical school a plus) Knowledge of applicable NFPA standards Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• BPAT, NICET, or other related qualifications
