Services Position Summary:
Unlimited Fire Services LLC is seeking a skilled and licensed Fire Protection Systems Technician to join our growing service team in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will hold a current Responsible Managing Employee - General Inspector License , Texas Fire Alarm License , Fire Extinguisher License, and Backflow Preventor Assembly Tester or some combination thereof. The role's focus will be inspecting, servicing, and maintaining fire sprinkler, alarm, and suppression systems in accordance with local, state, and national fire codes.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, test, repair, and maintain fire sprinkler, alarm, and extinguisher systems in accordance with local, state, and national standards. Ensure all systems meet code requirements and are up to date with current standards when applicable. Complete accurate documentation and service reports for all work completed. Maintain inventory of equipment, parts, and tools; report any discrepancies. Train and supervise junior technicians or apprentices. Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and inspectors. Maintain a clean and professional work environment/appearance. Maintain a safe work environment according to the standards/regulations of the company and governing body. Some overtime, out of metroplex travel, and overnight stays
Required Qualifications:
All or a combination of (and the ability to obtain) the following licenses: Active FAL Active RME-I Active FEL (Type K or A preferred) Active BPAT Minimum 2 years of work experience with related license preferred High school diploma or equivalent (technical school a plus) Strong knowledge of applicable NFPA standards (10, 17A, 25, 72) Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with emergency communication and voice evacuation systems Experience working with municipalities and submitting permit documentation
