Lead Fire Alarm Technician Battalion Fire Protection Georgetown, TX Job Details Full-time $27.50 - $32.00 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Paid time off Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Customer communication Management Customer service Driver's License Leadership Fire Alarm License Full Job Description Lead Fire Alarm Technician (FAL) Battalion Fire Protection is seeking an experienced Lead Fire Alarm Technician with a current Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) to lead our fire alarm inspection and service division. Responsibilities Perform annual, semi-annual, and quarterly fire alarm inspections in accordance with NFPA 72. Troubleshoot, repair, and service commercial fire alarm systems. Lead and supervise field technicians on inspections and service calls. Program, test, and commission fire alarm systems. Complete inspection reports and service documentation. Communicate with customers regarding deficiencies and repair recommendations. Coordinate work with local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). Maintain a safe and professional work environment. Qualifications Current Texas Fire Alarm License (FAL) required. Minimum 5 years of commercial fire alarm service experience preferred. Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 and commercial fire alarm systems. Experience with major manufacturers such as FireLite, Silent Knight, Potter, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, or similar. Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
