Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Security Technician II to be based in the Austin/Round Rock area to support the installation and deployment of electronic security systems across large commercial, industrial, healthcare, and institutional projects. This role is responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting access control, CCTV, and low-voltage infrastructure while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Install and service CCTV cameras, video surveillance systems, and related equipment. Install access control systems including badge readers, door controllers, mag locks, electric strikes, and REX devices. Pull, terminate, label, and test Cat5e/Cat6 low-voltage cabling. Read and interpret blueprints, security layouts, and system schematics. Support installation and commissioning of physical security systems. Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with project specifications and site standards. Collaborate with project teams to deliver projects on schedule and within quality expectations.
