Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a determined Lead Alarm & Certified Security Professional who embodies our core values: Service, Accountability, Customer Focus, Growth, and Integrity. The Certified Security Professional role is for tenured industry proven technicians with white glove customer experience success. You will play an integral role in supporting a customized approach to new installations with next level of customer relationships. The role entails visiting customer sites through the workday, completing walkthroughs, designing systems, installations with tech enhancements while partnering with our care team to ensure all customer needs are met. Additionally, you will serve as a tech expert in residential "custom home" installations while ensuring our compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience with these specific alarm panels: Qolsys 4 and 5, Honeywell (Vista 20 and 128), DSC (1864,1616,) Concord 4, and familiar with others such as DMP, 2GIG and Ademco. Ability to troubleshoot technical problems. Proficient in drilling for, dropping, and running wires in multi-level homes.
Replace/Install system components as assigned:
add-on's, conversions, takeovers, new installs, and service. Ability to properly maintain and record inventory transactions job to job. Install and test the operations of all equipment to ensure proper functionality and signal verification required to establish service. Identify opportunities to improve the use and functionality of the customer's system and provide those recommendations. Maintain safety practices to prevent against injury and damage to property. Maintain a clean and organized workspace / job site, ensuring customers satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized fleet vehicle.
Requirements:
5 plus years of industry experience in residential alarm installations Excellent problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results. Relevant certifications and licenses are a plus. H.S. Diploma or GED Good driving record and Valid driver's license. Excellent customer service skills. Working knowledge of how an alarm system operates. Must be ok with climbing ladders and working at heights. Must be ok working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, attics and basements
