Job Summary We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer for a direct hire opportunity in West Valley City, UT. This role is ideal for a design professional with at least 1 year of fire sprinkler system design experience who is ready to grow within a collaborative engineering services environment. As a Fire Sprinkler Designer, you will create code-compliant fire protection layouts for commercial, residential, and industrial projects using AutoCAD and HydraCAD. You will work closely with project teams, review construction drawings, and help deliver accurate, efficient sprinkler system designs that support life safety and building protection. Key Responsibilities
  • Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.
  • Prepare sprinkler layouts and design documents using AutoCAD and HydraCAD.
  • Work with wet, dry, pre-action, and other fire sprinkler system types.
  • Review and interpret construction plans, architectural drawings, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to produce accurate, high-quality fire protection designs.
  • Support project delivery by maintaining design accuracy, code awareness, and clear communication. Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $70,000 to $100,000 per year, based on experience.

  • Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
  • Develop sprinkler system drawings using AutoCAD and HydraCAD.
  • Review construction plans and translate project requirements into accurate fire protection designs.
  • Collaborate with project teams to support high-quality, code-conscious system layouts.
  • 1+ years of fire sprinkler system design experience.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and HydraCAD.
  • Strong working knowledge of construction plans and building drawings.
  • Familiarity with wet, dry, pre-action, and related sprinkler system types.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in West Valley City, UT.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a team-focused environment. Preferred Qualifications
  • NICET certification preferred, but not required.
  • Additional fire sprinkler design experience is highly valued.
  • Experience supporting a range of commercial, residential, and industrial fire protection projects.
