Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician Norfolk, VA $30.00 - $45.00/Hour + $3,000 Sign-On Bonus

Zing is seeking an experienced Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician to join a growing fire protection team serving commercial customers throughout the Norfolk, VA area. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems while working independently and directly with customers. Why You'll Love This Opportunity Compensation $30.00 - $45.00 per hour based on experience $3,000 Sign-On Bonus Additional bonus opportunities for NICET certifications Quarterly Performance Bonuses Annual Performance Bonuses Time-and-a-half pay for all hours worked between 6:00 PM and 5:00 AM Paid 4-hour minimum at time-and-a-half for emergency service calls Paid 4-hour minimum at double-time for emergency service calls on recognized holidays 8 hours of holiday pay in addition to emergency call compensation What You'll Be Doing Perform service, inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on commercial fire sprinkler systems Respond to service calls and diagnose sprinkler system issues Conduct inspections and testing in accordance with NFPA 25 Identify code deficiencies and non-conformance issues Perform fire pump flow testing when required Complete detailed inspection reports and service documentation Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers Participate in an on-call rotation schedule What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of fire sprinkler inspection and repair experience Strong knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes NICET certification preferred or willingness to become certified Experience with wet, dry, deluge, and/or pre-action sprinkler systems Fire pump testing experience preferred Valid driver's license with 3 or fewer points Minimum 3 years of licensed driving experience Ability to work on ladders ranging from 6 to 12 feet and operate lifts Ability to lift up to 70 pounds Comfortable working overhead, in attics, crawl spaces, and confined areas Strong customer service, communication, and documentation skills Organized and capable of managing service tickets and required paperwork Benefits 401(k) with Company Match Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Company-Paid Short-Term Disability Company-Paid Long-Term Disability Company-Paid Life and AD&D Insurance Pre-Tax Health and Dependent Care Accounts Aflac Supplemental Insurance Paid Vacation and Personal Time Paid Holidays Tuition Reimbursement If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity with strong compensation, a $3,000 sign-on bonus, NICET incentives, quarterly and annual bonus potential , excellent benefits, and long-term career growth, we'd love to hear from you.
