293429432 Job Description The work products and services to be provided, including any specific HMIS standards and requirements, required for the successful completion of this work activity include the following:- If necessary, an onsite scheduled visit to become familiar with equipment and discuss support needs.
- Three scheduled support visits at approximately 4-month intervals. The approximate length of each visit will be 4 days and all visits to HAMMER shall be coordinated, supervised and pre-arranged with the HAMMER Operations Department.
- Site visits shall be by a trained technician to evaluate the fire training equipment and implement all scheduled adjustments and parts replacements to ensure that the system is at a fully operational state. Page 4 of 28 General Materials or Services- Rev 4 10/23/2025 The service will include the following:
- Check the operating performance of all fireplaces and adjust as required.
- Clean and/or replace all filter elements.
- Inspect all fans and blowers and lubricate all bearings.
- Inspect all pilot spark igniters and replace as required.
- Inspect all pilot spark flame rods and replace as required.
- Inspect the fuel control station and adjust as required.
- Clean the fuel control station inlet strainer.
- Inspect all gas detection assemblies.
- Inspect and adjust all smoke generators.
- Inspect the Programmable Logic Controller battery and replace as required.
- Clean all equipment cabinets.
- Visually inspect all element piping and replace as required.
- Function test all Field Fire Props.
- Inspect Field Fire Props and perform repairs as required.
- Provide overview of fire prop maintenance and operation to HAMMER maintenance and Hanford Fire Department (HFD) personnel as required.
- Provide initial and refresher burn prop operator training to qualified
HAMMER/HFD
personnel as identified by HAMMER Operations Manager.
