Job Description

QBMS Alarm Coverage Technician Location:
Kenosha County, WI Contract:
6 - 9 months duration ​
Work Environment:
Onsite, GxP manufacturing environment
Shifts:
24/7 rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays Role Summary ASI is seeking qualified technicians to provide 24/7 shift-based coverage for the Quality Building Management System (QBMS) at the Kenosha County site. This is a temporary operational role necessitated by the site's transition period following acquisition. In this role, the technicians will monitor, acknowledge, and escalate QBMS alarms in accordance with site procedures while the long-term automated monitoring solution is developed and implemented. Key Responsibilities Monitor the QBMS alarm console during assigned shifts (24/7 rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays) Acknowledge, investigate, and escalate alarms per documented site procedures and SOPs Log alarm events, responses, and escalations accurately in the GMP alarm management record system Communicate critical alarm conditions to appropriate on-call personnel (Utilities, Maintenance, Quality) Maintain a clean, organized alarm response log with no unaddressed entries at shift handoff Participate in shift handoff briefings to ensure continuity of coverage Identify recurring alarm patterns and report to the Automation Engineering team for root cause investigation Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience in a building management system, utility monitoring, or plant operations role in a GMP environment Ability and willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Familiarity with SCADA, BMS, or DCS operator interfaces and alarm management concepts Strong attention to detail; ability to remain alert and responsive during monitoring assignments Basic understanding of GMP documentation requirements (legibility, contemporaneous logging, data integrity) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Siemens Desigo CC, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or equivalent

platform Background in pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing facility operations Prior experience in a 24/7 monitoring or control room environment Knowledge of GxP alarm management best practices
Pay:
$30.00 - $45.00 per hour
