Job Description

Join a team dedicated to keeping facilities safe, compliant, and operational. We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service while supporting the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems. In this role, you will work directly with customers, troubleshoot complex systems, perform required inspections, and ensure fire alarm equipment meets all applicable codes and standards. Qualifications Completion of a two-year degree preferred Minimum of 3 years of industry experience preferred Valid Driver's License required NICET Level II Certification required Ability to work in office, construction site, and outdoor environments Ability to safely climb and work from ladders Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills Responsibilities Customer Service & Relationship Management Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing customers Provide technical support and communicate service recommendations clearly and professionally Service & System Support Respond to service calls and diagnose fire alarm system issues Program, test, and commission newly installed fire alarm systems in compliance with NFPA 72 standards Troubleshoot hardware and system failures and replace defective components Complete service documentation accurately and timely Inspection & Compliance Perform inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems Ensure systems remain compliant with applicable codes and regulations Identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions Professional Development & Team Collaboration Stay current on equipment, software, and manufacturer updates Participate in training opportunities and continuing education Contribute to process improvements and best practices Assist with project reviews and team initiatives as needed Equal Opportunity Employer / Disabled / Protected Veterans The Know Your Rights poster is available here: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2023-06/22-088_EEOC_KnowYourRights6.12.pdf The pay transparency policy is available here: https://www.dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/ofccp/pdf/pay-transp_%20English_formattedESQA508c.pdf For temporary assignments lasting 13 weeks or longer, the Company is pleased to offer major medical, dental, vision, 401k and any statutory sick pay where required.
