Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Collision Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition after collisions or damage, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will be vital in delivering exceptional results. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment to restore vehicles to factory specifications. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair or fabricate sheet metal components. Use hand tools, power tools, and auto glass equipment to carry out repairs efficiently and safely. Conduct auto painting using airless paint spraying techniques and ensure high-quality finishing with attention to detail. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto restoration projects, and assembly work as needed. Inspect vehicles thoroughly for damage, assess repair needs, and provide accurate auto estimating for customer approval. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and use of power tools. Skills Proven dealership experience or background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Strong MIG welding, fabrication, and sheet metal skills with the ability to perform auto restoration projects. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in automotive repair and vehicle maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, auto glass installation, and auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying. Knowledge of auto estimating processes and customer service skills for effective communication with clients. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate welding equipment such as soldering devices and welding machines.
