Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural straightening. Utilize MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair sheet metal and fabricate custom parts as needed. Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts efficiently. Inspect vehicles thoroughly for damage, assess repair needs with auto estimating software, and communicate findings clearly to customers or team members. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, sheet metaland auto restoration techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including vehicle maintenance and automotive repair fundamentals. Skilled in the use of hand tools. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair processes. Experience with auto body assembly, detailing work, auto sanding/polishing, and auto painting is advantageous.
