Body Shop Estimator - Lewis Collision Center Lewis Collision Center is seeking an experienced Body Shop Estimator to join the Lewis Auto Group team. Job Description The Body Shop Estimator is responsible for inspecting vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, and coordinating repair processes with insurance companies and customers. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage DRP relationships effectively while maintaining excellent customer communication.
Key responsibilities include:
Write accurate and detailed collision repair estimates Manage DRP (Direct Repair Program) accounts and ensure compliance requirements are met Communicate with insurance adjusters, customers, and technicians throughout the repair process Ensure estimates align with OEM repair procedures and industry standards Monitor repair progress and update estimates as needed Maintain workflow efficiency from vehicle intake to final delivery Job Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience as a Body Shop Estimator required Proven experience managing DRP accounts Strong understanding of collision repair procedures and estimating systems Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and accuracy I-CAR Certification preferred Compensation Starting pay: $25-$30 per hour , based on experience Additional commission opportunities available Pay is commensurate with experience and performance At Lewis Collision Center, you'll join a stable, well-established organization that values its employees and invests in their success—both professionally and personally.
