Overview Join our dynamic team as an Auto Body Technician and become a vital part of restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and expertise. In this role, you will utilize your skills in automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and cosmetic refinishing to deliver exceptional results. Your craftsmanship will help customers get back on the road safely and confidently, while you work with state-of-the-art tools and techniques. Duties Perform automotive body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication and welding techniques. Execute welding repairs such as MIG welding, automotive welding equipment operation, soldering, and fabrication repair techniques to restore vehicle integrity. Use hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and airless paint spraying equipment to prepare surfaces for refinishing and apply automotive body refinishing treatments. Conduct auto painting, auto glass replacement, and automotive cosmetic repairs to achieve a high-quality finish. Install automotive parts including bumpers, panels, trim, and auto glass with precision and attention to detail. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto parts installation, and general vehicle troubleshooting. Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper heavy lifting procedures and using appropriate safety gear during all repair processes. Experience Dealership experience or hands-on work in an automotive repair shop is highly preferred. Proficiency with MIG welding, soldering, and automotive welding equipment is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including structural components and sheet metal fabrication repair techniques. Experience working as an automotive body technician or in auto restoration projects is advantageous. Familiarity with auto estimating software, auto painting techniques including airless spray systems, and automotive parts installation enhances your candidacy. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, sanding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools confidently. Prior experience with auto body refinishing, detailing, auto glass replacement, and automotive cosmetic repair is desirable. $30.60 - $37.85 per hour
