Auto Body Paint Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Auto Body Paint Technician to join our automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles after repairs, ensuring a flawless appearance that meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply auto paint using airless paint spraying equipment, power tools, and hand tools with precision and consistency Perform light auto body repairs including dent removal. Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a smooth, glossy finish that meets quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and calibrated Experience Prior experience or background in auto body repair highly preferred Hands-on experience with auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying and buffing Proficiency with mechanical knowledge and the use of hand tools and power tools for vehicle repairs Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and auto restoration processes. Ability to lift heavy parts safely during repairs and restorations.

Pay:

$17.00 - $33.00 per hour
