Auto Body Technician Helper Pristine Collision Center Los Angeles, CA Job Details Full-time 7 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Detailing Customer service Organizational skills Mechanical knowledge Auto body repair Full Job Description Job Summary Busy auto body shop in Hollywood is looking for a dependable and hardworking Auto Body Technician Helper to assist technicians with vehicle repairs, teardown, prep work, and daily shop operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with auto body experience who wants to grow in a fast-paced professional environment. Duties Support auto body technicians with vehicle repairs, including sanding, masking, and prepping surfaces for painting or refinishing Assist with the use of hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment such as MIG welders and soldering tools to repair sheet metal and structural components Help with heavy lifting and moving parts or vehicles safely around the shop area Prepare vehicles for auto restoration projects by disassembling or reassembling parts as directed Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency during repair processes Aid in auto glass replacement, auto painting, and detailing tasks to meet quality standards Follow safety protocols when working with fabrication tools, welding equipment, and chemicals used in auto body repair Requirements Previous dealership or auto body shop experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong desire to learn is essential Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on your feet for extended periods Knowledge of sheet metal work, auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying is a plus Experience with MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, or auto restoration projects is highly desirable Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork and customer service Must have experience working on all makes and models, including luxury cars Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment Join us if you're eager to grow your skills in automotive repair while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to excellence!
