This is not a wash-and-detail position and not a role that rotates through other shop tasks. You will buff and polish freshly painted panels all day, every day, and rarely anything else. This role requires hands-on buffing experience earned specifically in a collision center. General detailing, dealership prep, or car wash experience does not meet this requirement. What This Role Looks Like
  • Buff and polish freshly painted panels using high-speed buffers and dual-action polishers.
  • Color sand and remove imperfections such as runs, orange peel, dirt nibs, and minor defects without burning or swirling paint.
  • Work around freshly painted vehicles with full understanding of paint sensitivity and cure times.
  • Inspect finished panels against quality standards before they leave the paint department.
  • Maintain buffing pads, compounds, and equipment.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe. What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 1-2 years of buffing/polishing experience specifically in a collision center.
  • Proficient with high-speed buffers and dual-action polishers on fresh paint.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; valid documentation required.
  • Valid CA driver's license; ability to pass background check.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in a flawless finish.
  • Dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working PPE at all times. What We Offer
  • Full-time schedule, Monday-Friday, no weekends.
  • Weekly pay.
  • Medical, dental, vision.
  • 401(k).
  • Paid time off + holidays.
  • Stable, long-term employment with a reputable family-owned company (40+ years), six locations.
  • Work with premium PPG paint and quality equipment.
If you take pride in a flawless finish and have already proven yourself buffing collision repairs, we'd like to talk to you. Apply today.
