In this role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive automotive structural repairs, auto body repairs, and cosmetic restorations with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in welding, fabrication, and vehicle repair techniques will ensure that every vehicle is restored to the highest standards of safety and appearance. This position offers an exciting opportunity for seasoned professionals passionate about automotive restoration and repair to showcase their craftsmanship in a fast-paced, supportive environment. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and automotive cosmetic repairs using hand tools, power tools, and specialized welding equipment. Conduct welding repairs such as MIG welding, automotive welding, and soldering to restore vehicle frames and structural components. Utilize fabrication techniques to create or modify parts using sheet metal, fabrication repair methods, and assembly skills. Apply auto painting techniques including auto body refinishing, auto glass installation, airless paint spraying, and detailing to achieve a flawless finish. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as auto parts installation, automotive structural repairs, and auto restoration projects. Use sanding tools and finishing techniques to prepare surfaces for painting or refinishing while ensuring automotive cosmetic standards are met. Collaborate with team members on complex repairs involving auto estimating, heavy lifting, and automotive parts installation to deliver high-quality results efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience working as an automotive body technician with dealership or collision center backgrounds preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive structural repair, auto body repair, and dent removal techniques. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, welding repair, and fabrication repair techniques using automotive welding equipment. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems combined with hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and automotive parts installation. Familiarity with auto restoration processes and automotive cosmetic repair standards. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex repairs.
