We're looking for a Paint Prep Technician to bring their passion, precision, and problem-solving skills to our team in Torrance, CA. Love This Role:
You will carry out paint preparation work to the absolute highest standards on our Singer luxury vehicles in a manner that demonstrates, "Everything is Important." What You'll 
Do:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, filing, grinding, masking, prepping, sanding to precise standards, applying primer, paint application, and conducting quality assurance inspections and revisions prior to our advanced paint application process. Clean and inspect vehicles for any flaws or imperfections prior to painting Prep vehicles for paint application and ensures quality assurance to precise company standards. Properly fill depressions with body filler and ensures a quality repair. Carefully and accurately mask any areas that are not meant to be painted. Use hammers/dollies to fix minor metalwork. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools. Replace bolts on panels and align properly. Who We're 
Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum two (2) years of experience in paint preparation for high-end luxury automobiles, hot rods, or restoration shops Experience with painting and prepping custom or restored automobiles Experience filing, sanding, and grinding different materials such as steel, carbon
  • fiber/composite and/or fiberglass to provide an impeccable surface in preparation for paint application on custom automobiles Experience prepping and painting different materials including steel, and composites Ability to perform quality assurance to precise company standards Experience using various hand and power tools and equipment Must possesses high attention to detail, adhere to high standards, and work well in a dedicated team environment where, "Everything is Important" Team oriented, with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to multiple deadlines
Location & Schedule:
This is an onsite position in Torrance, CA and the schedule is Monday
  • Friday 5am
  • 1:30pm with potential overtime. Or Monday
  • Friday 1:45pm-10:15pm with a shift differential of $1.50/hr. What We Offer

The starting pay range for this position is between $22
  • 30 per hour plus bonus.
