Responsibilities Perform comprehensive auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment corrections with precision and efficiency. Utilize hand tools, power tools, MIG welding, soldering, and airless paint spraying to restore vehicle exteriors. Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, priming, and applying auto paint with attention to detail. Fabricate sheet metal parts and perform auto restoration tasks to bring classic or damaged vehicles back to life. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, assembly, and detailing to ensure optimal vehicle condition. Collaborate with team members on auto estimating, customer service inquiries, and heavy lifting tasks to complete projects efficiently. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of MIG welding, soldering, sheet metal work, and fabrication techniques. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and auto repair equipment. Expertise in auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying for flawless finishes. Familiarity with auto glass installation, auto estimating processes, and automotive repair procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during repairs and restorations. Excellent customer service skills coupled with a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and auto restoration processes.
