$16.00 hr Depending on experience Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Body Technician to join our dynamic automotive repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and restoring vehicle bodies to their original condition with precision and care. Your expertise will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and aesthetics. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about auto body repair and restoration, eager to showcase their craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment. Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment using advanced tools and techniques. Conduct welding operations such as MIG welding, soldering, and sheet metal fabrication to restore structural integrity. Utilize power tools, hand tools, and auto body equipment for sanding, grinding, painting, and finishing vehicle surfaces. Apply auto paint using airless paint spraying techniques to achieve a flawless finish that matches factory specifications. Replace or repair auto glass and perform auto glass installation with precision to ensure safety and durability. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and estimated time to ensure accurate auto estimating and customer transparency. Assist in vehicle assembly, detailing, and final inspection to guarantee customer satisfaction before delivery. Skills Background in auto body repair and restoration projects. Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance procedures. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, auto painting equipment, and auto glass installation tools. Knowledge of auto estimating software Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair processes. Familiarity with automotive repair standards, auto body repair procedures, and heavy-duty vehicle repairs as needed.
