The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive repair and restoration, with the ability to work on various makes and models. This role requires expertise in auto body repair, welding, and auto glass installation, ensuring that vehicles are restored to their original condition while maintaining high-quality standards. Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening. Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed. Utilize welding techniques for structural repairs and assembly of vehicle components. Solder electrical connections as required for vehicle systems. Assemble and install auto glass with precision to ensure proper fit and safety. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to achieve efficient workflow and timely project completion. Utilize auto estimating software to provide accurate repair cost assessments. Experience Proven experience in auto body repair, restoration, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in welding techniques and heavy lifting capabilities are essential. Familiarity with automotive repair processes, tools, and equipment is required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
