Job Summary:
As a Body Shop ADAS Technician at Bomnin Automotive, you will be responsible for diagnosing, calibrating, testing, and repairing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) on vehicles following collision repairs, mechanical repairs, glass replacement, and manufacturer procedures. The technician ensures all vehicle safety systems operate properly and meet OEM specifications before delivery to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform pre-repair and post-repair vehicle scans using approved diagnostic equipment. Diagnoses and troubleshoot ADAS-related issues, warning lights, and system faults. Perform static, dynamic, and combined ADAS calibrations in accordance with OEM procedures. Calibrate and verify proper operation of: Forward-facing cameras Radar sensors Blind spot monitoring systems Lane departure warning systems Adaptive cruise control systems Parking assistance systems Surround-view camera systems Collision avoidance and automatic emergency braking systems Review OEM repair procedures and calibration requirements. Document all diagnostic findings, calibration results, and repair procedures performed. Maintain calibration equipment and ensure calibration areas meet OEM specifications. Collaborate with collision repair technicians, mechanical technicians, estimators, and production staff to identify calibration requirements. Verify vehicle alignment and suspension measurements when required prior to calibration. Perform road tests and quality control inspections as necessary. Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer, safety, and company standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Stay current with evolving ADAS technology through training and certification programs.
