Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auto Collision Body Technician to join our team! In this role, you'll be at the forefront of restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help transform damaged vehicles into pristine, road-ready masterpieces. You will work with state-of-the-art tools and techniques to deliver exceptional results that exceed customer expectations. Responsibilities Perform precise auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment to restore vehicle integrity. Use MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair or fabricate sheet metal components. Operate power tools, hand tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment to prepare surfaces and apply paint finishes. Conduct auto glass replacement and repair with attention to safety standards and quality. Assess vehicle damage accurately using auto estimating software and communicate repair plans effectively with customers. Handle heavy lifting safely while moving parts or damaged panels; ensure proper use of lifting equipment. Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, parts used, and work performed for quality control and customer records. Requirements Proven dealership or auto body shop experience with a strong background in auto collision repair. Proficiency in MIG welding, fabrication, sheet metal work, and auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance procedures, and automotive repair processes. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and auto glass installation tools. Familiarity with auto estimating software and customer service practices is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
