Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Body Shop Production Manager to lead our collision repair operations with energy, precision, and a commitment to excellence. In this vital role, you will oversee the entire vehicle repair process, ensuring high-quality auto body repairs are completed efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Coordinate daily workflow of the collision repair shop, prioritizing jobs to maximize efficiency and meet deadlines Supervise and motivate technicians and support staff, providing guidance on auto body repairs, paint applications, and detailing processes Ensure all repairs adhere to safety regulations and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to maintain safety and quality standards Conduct defect root cause analysis to resolve vehicle issues effectively and prevent recurring problems Manage vehicle maintenance schedules for shop equipment, including paint booths, auto glass tools, and metal fabrication machinery Utilize computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software to accurately assess repairs and communicate with clients about scope and timelines Skills Proven dealership or collision repair shop experience with a strong understanding of automotive body refinishing, auto painting, and auto restoration techniques Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, auto body structures, aluminum repair, and metal fabrication processes Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, auto glass installation tools, and detailing equipment Familiarity with automotive repair procedures including collision damage assessment and defect resolution root cause analysis Ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements, material quantities, and cost estimates Knowledge of safety regulations related to collision repair shops and proper PPE use to ensure a safe working environment Experience with computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software for accurate job costing and client communication Strong communication skills for effective client interaction, team coordination, and reporting Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments involving aluminum work or metal fabrication Join us as we set the standard for quality in automotive collision repair! $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
