The Auto Body Taper assists in the refinishing of damaged vehicles in accordance with the Auto and Company standards. The main job duties for each position are (positions may be combined):

Taper:

Clean all areas (including adjacent panels) of the vehicle to prepare for the taping process Inspect all repaired and prepped panels to ensure it meets company standards (i.e. uninformed sanded panels) Tape and bag vehicles properly prior to cars entering the paint booth Assist with loading and unloading paint booths and securing bags overall vehicle and wheel covers per company standards. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Must have previous experience (1 to 2 years) working in an Automotive Body & Collision Repair Shop...Preferably as a Taper. Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines. Able to handle a high demand environment. Must be flexible enough to work weekends in a very fast-paced environment. Must have a clean & valid Driver's License Must have a great attitude and is motivated to earn top dollars.
