In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition with precision and care. Your expertise in auto body repair, welding, fabrication, and vehicle maintenance will ensure that every vehicle leaving our shop meets the highest standards of quality and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles, from everyday cars to high-end restorations, in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Duties Perform comprehensive auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment adjustments using hand tools and power tools. Conduct auto painting and auto restoration projects utilizing airless paint spraying techniques and detailing skills. Use MIG welding, soldering, and other welding techniques to repair sheet metal and fabricate custom parts as needed. Replace or repair auto glass, perform auto glass installation, and ensure proper sealing for safety and durability. Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical repairs, auto estimating, and general automotive repair procedures. Handle heavy lifting safely when moving or positioning vehicle parts or damaged vehicles. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and customer service interactions to ensure transparency and quality control. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, soldering, fabrication, and the use of various hand tools and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair, auto painting, auto glass installation, and auto restoration. Familiarity with sheet metal work, auto estimating processes, airless paint spraying, and vehicle assembly techniques. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about repairs and estimates. Automotive repair or mechanic experience is a plus; certification in welding or auto body technology is advantageous.
