If you feel your skills would be valuable to our customers, we want to get to know you! Auto body paint preppers prepare vehicles to be painted. Other duties include wet sanding and buffing of the vehicle.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assisting the painter in making cosmetic repairs to vehicles and repainting them, often after collisions or accidents.
  • Must communicate with clients, employers, and other employees to plan and execute repair and prepping vehicles for paint jobs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, and trucks.
  • In preparation for a painting project, auto body painters remove rust and other debris from surfaces to be painted, fill cavities and dents in vehicles to create an even surface, mask or tape off details and components to avoid contamination, and select the proper colors and substances for the project.
  • Assisting in sanding, priming, and taping the car; and mixing paint and adjusting the color, if needed.
  • Performing job duties assigned by Management.
  • Good with time management.
  • Keep the work area organized.
Qualifications:
  • Experience preferred.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
  • Must have a clean & valid driver's license.
