In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring a flawless appearance and long-lasting protection. Your expertise will help restore vehicles to their original condition, delighting customers and maintaining our reputation for excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment dedicated to vehicle restoration and customer satisfaction. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, grinding, and cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, and touch-up paint using airless spray guns, power tools, or hand tools with precision and consistency Conduct auto body repairs including filling dents, smoothing surfaces, and repairing minor damages before painting Operate welding equipment and perform minor auto body repairs as needed to facilitate painting processes Buff and polish painted surfaces to achieve a smooth, glossy finish that meets quality standards Assist with auto glass replacement and detailing to ensure a comprehensive restoration process Follow safety protocols for handling paints, chemicals, and power tools while maintaining a clean work environment Skills Proven dealership or automotive repair shop experience as an Auto Body Painter or similar role Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and auto painting procedures Proficiency with welding, buffing, auto restoration, and vehicle maintenance tasks Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other relevant machinery Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and auto glass installation Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physical tasks involved in auto body work Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and paint work expectations Experience with auto estimating software is a plus but not required Knowledge of auto detailing techniques and auto estimating processes enhances your versatility in the role Join us if you're passionate about automotive craftsmanship!
