Duties Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, sheet metal work, and structural realignment using advanced fabrication and welding repair techniques. Use MIG welding, automotive welding equipment, soldering, and other welding methods to restore vehicle frames and panels with precision. Conduct auto restoration projects, automotive cosmetic repairs, and auto painting utilizing airless paint spraying and sanding tools for flawless finishes. Install automotive parts such as auto glass, bumpers, trim pieces, and perform automotive parts installation with attention to detail. Utilize hand tools and power tools for sanding, grinding, cutting, and assembling vehicle components to meet manufacturer specifications. Apply automotive body refinishing techniques including sanding, priming, painting, and detailing to achieve a high-quality finish. Collaborate with team members on vehicle maintenance tasks and provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly. Requirements Proven experience working as an automotive body technician or in a similar role within a dealership or collision center environment. Strong knowledge of auto body repair procedures including welding repair, sheet metal fabrication, and automotive structural repair. Proficiency with MIG welding, soldering, fabrication repair techniques, and automotive welding equipment. Mechanical aptitude with experience in vehicle maintenance and automotive parts installation. Familiarity with auto restoration processes, auto painting techniques such as airless paint spraying, and automotive cosmetic repair methods. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, sanding tools, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
