Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Body Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair, body work, and maintenance with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various vehicle systems, bodies, and a passion for classic/retro car restoration. Duties Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring all work is completed to high standards. Perform auto body repairs and restoration on client vehicles Remove, repair, assemble, and replace damaged body parts, including panels, fenders, and doors Remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle surfaces Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding and priming Conduct auto estimating to determine repair costs for customers Order parts online as necessary Diagnose issues with vehicles using diagnostic tools and equipment. Utilize power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively. Align wheels and perform suspension work as needed. Maintain detailed records of services performed on each vehicle. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Experience Proven experience as an Automotive Body Mechanic or similar role. Classic car maintenance experience a plus Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and diagnostic techniques. Familiarity with ADAS technologies is a plus. Ability to work with power tools and welding equipment safely. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive repair are preferred but not mandatory.
