Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a driven, Entry-Level to Semi-Skilled Auto Body Prep Technician to join our production team. In this role, you won't just be fixing dents—you'll be a key part of our custom ATC conversion process. You will be responsible for prepping custom door builds, vehicle surrounds, and metal sub-parts to ensure a flawless finish.
Key Responsibilities Surface Prep:
Utilize DA sanders and hand-sanding techniques across various grits on both automotive surfaces and metal components.
Body Work:
Apply and finish fillers, Duraglas, and seam sealers to meet high-quality standards.
Coating:
Professional application of primers and bedline spraying.
Final Prep:
Complete end-to-end prep to ensure vehicles are 100% ready for the paint booth.
Quality Control:
Maintain a high standard of craftsmanship with a sharp eye for detail.
Technical Shop Skills Surface Preparation:
Expert use of DA sanders and manual sanding techniques using various grit sequences.
Substrate Knowledge:
Experience prepping both automotive body surfaces and metal sub-parts .
Body Fillers:
Proficiency in applying and finishing fillers, Duraglas, and seam sealers .
Coating Application:
Ability to professionally spray primers and bedliners .
Paint-Ready Finishing:
Comprehensive knowledge of the final prep stages required to get a vehicle 100% ready for the paint booth.
